How corporate religious structures and lunar calendar deceptions have separated mankind from the true covenant instructions of Yahweh.
Any 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization is a member of the State church — a corporation of the United States government. When a religious assembly files for 501(c)(3) status, it enters into a legal covenant with the State that places the State's authority above the authority of Yahweh. The assembly agrees, in effect, to operate within the boundaries set by the government rather than the boundaries set by the covenant of Yahweh.
This is not merely a legal technicality. It is a covenant violation. Yahweh does not require His people to register their worship with Caesar. The covenant assembly of Yahweh derives its authority from Yahweh alone — not from any State charter, not from any corporate structure, not from any government recognition.
The calendar question is one of the most contested issues in the Sacred Name movement. What calendar did Yahweh give to Mosheh at Sinai? The answer determines when Shabbat falls, when the feasts are observed, and whether an assembly is keeping the covenant appointed times of Yahweh or the appointed times of men.
The lunar Sabbath calendar — which places the Sabbath on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the lunar month — is a departure from the continuous weekly Sabbath cycle that has been observed since Bereishit. The evidence from the Tanakh itself is clear: the Sabbath is a fixed, continuous seven-day cycle that was established at creation and has never been interrupted.
The moon governs the months and the appointed feast times — not the weekly Sabbath cycle. Conflating the lunar cycle with the Sabbath cycle produces a calendar that has no basis in Torah and separates people from the true Sabbath rest that Yahweh established at creation.
Religious corporations build corporate temples — physical structures that require large financial outlays, memberships, and organizational hierarchies to maintain. This model places the building before the covenant and the institution before Yahweh. The result is an assembly that serves its own survival rather than the instructions of its Creator.
Yahweh does not dwell in buildings made by human hands. He dwells among His people when they walk in covenant obedience. Any family, in any home, in any nation, can become a Bayith Yahweh — a House of Yahweh — simply by committing to live according to His covenant instructions.
The concerns raised in the 2010–2016 teaching about corporate religious structures remain valid. Miqdash Bethel Covenant Assembly is not a 501(c)(3) corporation. It is a covenant assembly — governed by the instructions of Yahweh as revealed in the Hebrew Tanakh.
On the calendar question: Miqdash Bethel holds to the continuous weekly Sabbath cycle as established in Bereishit and confirmed throughout the Tanakh. The lunar calendar governs the appointed feast times (moedim) of Yahweh as specified in Vayikra 23 — not the weekly Sabbath. These are two distinct and separate systems that must not be conflated.
